Certification of the new traffic alert and collision avoidance system, which will debut on the new Falcon 7X business jet from Dassault, is expected in the first quarter of next year. “Development of new and exciting safety avionics systems has been the forte of ACSS since we became a business more than five years ago,” said Kris Ganase, president of ACSS. “With the TCAS 3000, we deliver savings in weight and power, as well as improve the reliability. Our new Surveillance Processor, which hosts the TCAS 3000 software, will allow customers to upgrade to future capabilities quickly and easily.” The unique hardware design of the ACSS Surveillance Processor, which is available in either a four- or six-MCU form factor, enables aircraft owners to upgrade their entire suite of safety avionic systems by adding software.
